Free the Nipple! is a movement created by Lina Esco that addresses the double standards that society has towards female bodies; Female nipples are overly sexualised despite their innate function to sustain early human life. This project mirrors Esco’s sentiments, intentionally illustrated in an amusing manner like the slogan itself:
“I came up with free the nipple because its funny and engaging - the fuel we needed to start a serious dialogue about gender equality.”
